The story of Levantis Restaurant

The location where Levantis Restaurant stands today has been home to a popular taverna since the early 20th century. The taverna, known as "Klimataria," was named after the hanging vine pergola that still hangs above the yard today. Many previous generations of Parians have fond memories of spending time at Klimataria. The taverna remained open until the late 1970s, after which it briefly functioned as a pastry shop before being renovated and renamed as Levantis in 1985.

Levantis regularly updates its menu, introducing new selections for Spring (May and June), Summer (July and August), and Autumn (September and October). This bi-monthly refreshment of the menu gives frequent diners opportunities to enjoy the new offerings of each season.

Situated for easy accessibility, Levantis is in the central Market Street in Parikia. To reach it, simply walk past the small Taxiarchis church in the Kastro area, or from the “Paralia” (seafront road), enter the old town and Kastro next to Kakao Cafe/Bar.

For those looking to experience a blend of artistic ambiance and refined cuisine, Levantis is worth a try during your visit on Paros.
